Auto Parts

Violent action can leave in its wake a maelstrom of decay, destruction and despair. With an automobile, the remains are torn, twisted, shattered, covered with rust. I wanted to see if what had been destroyed could be reimagined and found that something new and enduring could come from the remains — that the phoenix could arise from the ashes. It gave me hope.

See this as a political statement if you will.
